GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT (a French message follows)
Our research group – Neuroscience of Cognition and Attention_NoCA is currently searching for a graduate research assistant (GRA), preferably at the doctoral level, for work on the project concerning mindfulness in attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Job description
– GRA would be required to perform a systematic literature review and write up a report concerning mindfulness in ADHD, which would lead to a formal meta-analysis.
– GRA would be working closely with Principal Investigators on the analysis and would be a co-author of eventual publications.
Expectations :
• The candidate must have experience with major data bases such as: PubMed, Ovid, EMBASE, Web of Science, ERIC, CINAHAL, NeuroSynth;
• The candidate must have experience in conducting a systemactic review and meta-analysis;
• The candidate must posses excellent reading and writing skills in English;
• The candidate must have experience with the APA or MLA style;
• The candidate should be highly motivated, independent, and have good communication skills to facilitate brainstorming discussions with the rest of the NoCA research group.
Salary:
Consistent with the existing UQAM policy for the doctoral RA rates

Notre Équipe des Neurosciences de la Cognition et de l’Attention (ÉNCA) est présentement à la recherche d’un-e assistante-e de recherche de niveau doctoral pour travailler sur un projet portant sur la présence attentive et le trouble déficitaire de l’attention/hyperactivité (TDAH).
Mandat
– l’assistant-e fera une revue systématique des écrits dans le domaine de la présence attentive en lien avec le TDAH. La revue systématique devra mener à une méta-analyse selon les normes reconnues.
– l’assistant sera impliqué avec les principaux chercheurs de l’équipe dans la co-rédaction de rapports et d’articles.
Exigences
• Le doctorant doit avoir de l’expérience avec les bases de données courantes du domaine : PubMed, Ovid, EMBASE, Web of Science, ERIC, CINAHAL, NeuroSynth;
• Le doctorant doit avoir de l’expérience dans la conduite d’une revue systématique et des méta-analyses;
• Le doctorant doit avoir une excellente connaissance de l’anglais: lecture et écriture;
• Le doctorant doit avoir des qualifications en rédaction de rapports scientifiques : style APA ou MLA;
• Le doctorant doit être très motivé et autonome et ouvert au dialogue avec les co-chercheurs dans un esprit d’équipe véritable.
Salaire
Conforme au taux horaire fixé par l’UQAM
